5 Easy Steps to being super inspired, all the time :)

It’s January, and I thought it was a good idea to share how I go about finding inspiration and using it in my life, each day, and because it is January I am going to assume that you all have new goals and new ideas, and maybe you need some inspiration to get you going.
Inspiration can come in various forms and nowadays we have access to so much that people from older generation did not. I often find myself thinking about how all this stuff was inventing and found in the years before the internet … they must have been some really creative people, whose brains took them places.
BUT, in actual fact, I guess that the biggest guide was in the fact that they let their minds have time to think, and breath, and go places – which is one thing I am not sure many people do now, because they are always battling with time.
If I was to create a list for you (haha wink wink) of how to be inspired ~ this is where I would start:

FIND TIME TO BE INSPIRED
This is number 1 – make time for this. If you really want to do something, you will … so no excuses, if you want to be inspired, make the time. And if you do make the time, you will be happy that you did. Of this I am sure!

DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO BE INSPIRED BY
What do you like, what are you interested in, what do you want to do?

WHERE TO FIND YOUR INSPIRATION
YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, will give you people and/or brands and/or topics to follow and like.
From there find their websites where you can subscribe to their newsletters, to get emailers from them, which just keep the inspiration going.
A very good place to go is FlipBoard – an app on your iPad, where you can subscribe to all kinds of feeds, from news, to magazines, to interest types, to topics, to people.

WHEN TO CONSUME YOUR INSPIRATION
Find a few of times and places that suit you to do this, for instance:

  • at the gym
  • dedicate time during your workday, or weekend
  • in-between meetings or when you get to a place early or you waiting at a doctors room

KEEPING YOUR INSPIRATION THAT REALLY TICKLES YOU
Bookmark what you have read so you can refer back to it at anytime, or save it on EVernote, another app on your iPad that is a great place to store all kinds of information and content.
